 La même étampe que l’autre jour est, cette fois, utilisée non plus en coin, 

mais plutôt horizontale pour figurer une guirlande de feuillage à laquelle sont suspendus des ornements. 

Ces ornements sont étampés en utilisant des caches pour protéger ceux 

que l’on souhaite paraître devant les autres. 

Attention à les étamper bien droits pour que leurs crochets soient bien alignés. 

The same stamp as the other day is, this time, no longer used as a corner, 

but rather horizontally to represent a garland of foliage from which ornaments are suspended. 

These ornaments are stamped using masks to protect those that one wishes to appear in front of others. 

Be careful to stamp them straight so that their hooks are properly aligned.

Ornements et feuillage sont coloriés au crayon de couleur et sont rehaussés 

de marqueurs noir et métalliques. Une ligne fine est tracée de manière à attacher

 chaque boule aux feuilles ou spirales.

Ornaments and foliage are colored in color pencil and are accented with black 

and metallic markers. A thin line is drawn so as to attach each ornament 

to the leaves or spirals.

Un texte est étampé dans le bas, et encore plus de marqueur est ajouté ici et là 

pour compléter le décor.

Text is stamped at the bottom, and even more marker is added here and there 

to complete the decor.

Sur cette carte, le mot Noël est étampé sur un autre papier blanc, découpé 

et collé en relief sur la carte légèrement au-dessus d’une fine lisière de Washi Tape miroitant.

On this card, the word Noël (Christmas) is stamped onto another white paper, cut 

and glued with 3D tape onto the card slightly above a thin border of shimmering Washi Tape.

La jolie chouette / The nice owl

 Plutôt que de la faire comme un oiseau d’automne, 

je me suis amusée à décorer pour Noël cette ravissante étampe de chouette.

 D’abord je l’ai étampée en brun sur un papier imprimé donnant de la texture au fond, 

et rehaussée de crayon de couleur pour plus de réalisme. 

J’ai étampé autour de l’oiseau de petits flocons en gris, dont quelques uns sans réencrer pour un résultat estompé. 

J’ai ensuite ajouté des motifs de cœurs poinçonnés dans du papier scintillant.

 Cœurs que j’ai collés ici et là pour les suspendre d’un trait de marqueur noir très fin aux branches. 

Pour que les branches principales reposent sur quelque chose, j’ai collé une bordure elle aussi scintillante. 

J’ai étampé mon souhait et ajouté des fleurs poinçonnées – toujours dans du papier scintillant – et sur chacune une perle de fantaisie. 

Finalement, j’ai ajouté un peu de Stickles sur certains flocons.

Rather than make it like an autumn bird, 
I had fun decorating this lovely owl stamp for Christmas. 

First, I stamped it in brown on a printed paper offering already a nice background,

 and enhanced with colored pencil for more realism. 

I stamped small snowflakes around the bird in gray, some without re-inking for a faded result. 

I then added punched heart designs in glitter paper. 

Hearts that I glued here and there to hang with a very fine line of black marker to the branches. 

So that the main branches were resting on something, I glued a border that was also sparkling. 

I stamped my text and added punched flowers – still in glitter paper – and a fancy pearl on each. 

Finally, I added a little Stickles to some of the snowflakes.
