En variante des cartes de jeudi dernier, voici la même étampe de rose, mais cette fois, non seulement elle est entière
(et non recadrée comme précédemment) mais je l’ai étampée 3-4 fois pour découper de quoi la faire en relief.
Une première fois complète, donc, sur un papier cartonné blanc plus grand que le motif,
mais que j’ai ensuite découpé au couteau de bricolage pour que certaines feuilles ressortent du cadre.
Deux ou trois autres fois pour la fleur elle-même, en prenant moins de pétales à chaque fois.
J’ai tout mis en couleur aux crayons, puis découpé et courbé mes roses,
de plus en plus petites pour les superposer au motif complet.
On peut les faire pivoter au montage pour ne pas trop cacher les premiers pétales.
Le texte est très romantique, mais, honnêtement, ça n’a pas marché pour moi dans mon petit jardin!
As a variation of the cards from last Thursday, here is the same rose stamp, but this time not only is it whole
(and not cropped as before) but I stamped it 3-4 times to cut out and overlap the flower.
A first time for the complete image, therefore, on a white cardstock larger than the pattern,
but which I then cut out with a craft knife so that some leaves stand out from the frame.
Two or three more times for the flower itself, taking fewer petals each time.
I colored everything with pencils, then cut and curved my roses,
smaller and smaller to superimpose them on the complete pattern.
They can be rotated during assembling so as not to hide the first petals too much.
The text means: « It is by believing in roses that we make them bloom ».
Which is a very romantic saying, but truly, it didn’t work for me, no roses in my little garden!
