Un oiseau pour Noël / A bird for Christmas

 Les oiseaux sont toujours un joli thème pour des cartes de Noël. 
Celui-ci est étampé en brun sur un papier cartonné beige, plutôt vers le bas du carton 

pour garder de la place pour le motif d’ornements qui est étampé en haut à droite 

(en sortant du carton dans le haut pour avoir l’air suspendu). 

L’oiseau est aussi étampé sur un papier fin et découpé, devenant un cache, ce qui permet 

de le protéger pour étamper une répétition du petit motif de sapinage (ici en trois couleurs de vert). 

L’oiseau et le motif d’ornement sont ensuite coloriés aux crayons de couleur. 

Des ronds figurant des baies sont aussi tracés dans la verdure. 

Ensuite, on peut ajouter divers éléments : motif de verdure au pochoir, pluie de gouttelettes 

d’aquarelle iridescente pour figurer de la neige, Glossy Accent, etc. 

Le rectangle de papier beige est volontairement plus étroit que la carte 

pour permettre d’ajouter un texte tout en longueur sur le côté.

Birds are always a pretty theme for Christmas cards. 
This one is stamped in brown on a tan cardstock, rather towards the bottom of the cardboard 

to make room for the ornament design which is stamped on the top right 

(coming out of the cardboard at the top to look suspended). 

The bird is also stamped on a thin paper and cut, becoming a mask that will protect it 

to stamp a repetition of the small fir tree motif (here in three colors of green). 

The bird and the ornamental pattern are then colored in with colored pencils.

 Circles representing berries are also drawn in the greenery. 

Then you can add various elements: stenciled greenery pattern, 

splashes of iridescent watercolor to represent snow, Glossy Accent, etc. 

The rectangle of beige cardstock is intentionally narrower than the card 

to allow for long slim text to be added to the side.

 Voici maintenant quelques cartes avec la même étampe que dimanche dernier,

 mais cette fois avec une mise en couleur plus « Noël ».

Here are now some cards with the same stamp as last Sunday, 
but this time with a more “Christmas” coloring.

 

Dans chacune des cartes suivantes, la mise en couleur se fait aux crayons de couleur 

et la fleur est étampée deux fois, l'une pour le fond, l'autre pour être découpée

 et superposée pour ajouter un peu de dimension à la carte.

In each of the following cards, the coloring is done with colored pencils 

and the flower is stamped twice, one for the background, the other to be cut 

and superimposed to add a little dimension to the card.

Pour celle-ci, j'ai griffonné quelques points et flocons au marqueur doré 

et utilisé la deuxième fleur en la plaçant légèrement sur le côté.

For this one, I scribbled a few dots and flakes with the gold marker 

and used the second flower, placing it slightly to the side.

J'ai aussi utilisé une répétition de la même étampe de fleur 

pour décorer le fond de la carte.

I also stamped several times the same flower stamp 

to decorate the background of the card.

Bon, celle-ci n’est pas en couleurs de Noël, mais après tout, 

qui dit que Noël ne doit être que rouge et vert?

who says Christmas should only be red and green?

parfois plus d’une fois pour découper et superposer, 

et qui crée aussi un agréable motif de fond de carte.
