Fleurs sauvages / Wildflowers

 

Encore une carte toute simple: un cercle de couleur tracé au pochoir 

et une étampe qui remplit bien cet espace créé. 

Du marqueur bleu sur les fleurs et du noir pour tracer cercle et cadre, 

et voilà, c’est fait!

Another very simple card: a circle of color drawn with a stencil 

and a stamp that fills in the space created. 

Blue marker on the flowers and black to draw circle and frame,

and voila, it's done!

Quelque part dans le monde un oiseau chante pour toi / Somewhere in the world a bird sings for you

 

Cette silhouette d’oiseau sur un fil, dont les bulles évoquent le chant a été étampée 

sur un fond fait d’encres à l’alcool appliquées en lignes sur un applicateur feutre,

 pour tracer des lignes horizontales sur un papier cartonné blanc. 

Pour renforcer l’idée du chant, et donc des bulles, j’en ai ajoutées au pochoir. 

Du crayon bleu très foncé est ajouté sur l’oiseau et ici et là.

Le texte est évidemment approprié: « quelque part dans le monde un oiseau chante pour toi ». 

Ce que je souhaite à chacun de vous!

This silhouette of a bird on a wire, whose bubbles evoke singing, was stamped on a background made of alcohol inks 

applied in lines on a felt applicator, to trace horizontal lines on a white cardstock.

 To reinforce the idea of singing, and therefore bubbles, I added some more with a stencil. 

Very dark blue pencil is added to the bird and here and there. 

The text is obviously appropriate: "Somewhere in the world a bird sings for you".

 What I wish for each of you!

Mésanges sur une branche / Chickadees on branch

 

J’ai présenté plusieurs fois des cartes composée en partant d’un cercle colorié avec un pochoir. 

C’est un type de structure que j’aime beaucoup. 

Ici, c’est le prétexte à combiner ces magnifiques feuillages et ces adorables petits oiseaux sur leur branche. 

Attention, je me suis permis de prolonger cette branche lors de ma mise en couleur afin de rendre le tout plus réaliste. 

Crayons de couleur et marqueur noir complètent le tout.

I presented several times cards composed starting from a colored circle done with a stencil. 

It's a type of structure that I really like. 

Here is the pretext to combine these magnificent foliage and these adorable little birds on their branch. 

Attention, I allowed myself to extend this branch during my coloring in order to make everything more realistic. 

Colored pencils and black marker complete the whole thing.

Fleurs toutes simples / Simple flowers

 

Parfois une carte peut être aussi simple que celle-ci. 

Un pochoir tracé en douce couleur pour le fond (ici un pochoir de 9 motifs carrés de fantaisie). 

Puis une étampe imprimée en couleur assortie, plus foncée, et rehaussée de quelques touches 

de crayon de couleur, et de marqueur noir, y compris pour les spirales ajoutées.

Sometimes a card can be as simple as this. 

A stencil traced in soft color for the background (here a stencil of 9 fancy square pattern). 

Then a stamp printed in darker matching color, and enhanced with a few touches 

of colored pencil and black marker, including for the added spirals.

Fleurs des champs / Field flowers

 Il y a quelques semaines j’ai fait une carte avec la même étampe de fleurs,

 également sur un fond fait avec des poudres Nuance sur papier aquarelle. 

Elle est faite sur le même principe, rehaussée de crayon de couleur 

et d’un pochoir de fleurs colorié en gris, tout en douceur. 

Du marqueur noir fin est utilisé pour retracer les fleurs et pour encadrer le tout

ou faire de petits cercles fantaisistes ici ou là.

A few weeks ago I made a card with the same flower stamp,

also on a background made with Nuance powders on watercolor paper. 

It is made on the same principle, enhanced with colored pencil and a stencil of flowers 

colored in gray, very gently. 

Fine black marker is used to trace the flowers and to frame everything

or make fancy little circles here or there.

Bon anniversaire / Happy anniversary

 Lorsque j’utilise mes poudres Nuance, je fais souvent une belle série de fonds sur papier aquarelle, 

et parfois je les retrouve, comme celui-ci… des années plus tard. 

Je l’ai d’abord étampé avec le motif de marguerites, que j’ai mis en couleur aux crayons. 

Puis, en faisant attention de ne pas trop chevaucher ces fleurs, j’ai ajouté au pochoir le motif de broche à poule, 

et la petite bordure de fleurs. 

Avec un marqueur noir fin j’ai retracé cette bordure de fleurs et un semblant de cadre à l’ensemble.

J’ai repris la même étampe de fleurs pour l’étamper en bordure du papier bleu de fond. 

J’ai étampé le souhait d’anniversaire sur une bande étroite blanche 

que j’ai installée avec des attaches parisiennes. 

When I use my Nuance powders, I often do a nice series of backgrounds on watercolor paper, 

and sometimes I find them, like this one… years later.

First I stamped it with the daisy pattern, which I colored with pencils. 

Then, being careful not to overlap these flowers too much, I stenciled the chicken brooch pattern, 

and the small border of flowers. With a fine black marker I traced this border of flowers 

and a sort of frame to the whole.

I took the same stamp of flowers to stamp it on the edge of the blue background paper. 

I stamped the birthday wish on a narrow white strip that I attached with brads.

Oups! / Oops!

 

Voilà, alors que vous venez de décorer votre petit jardin ou votre balcon, oups, 

le chat passe et fait tomber une de vos créations… 

Zut, il faut recommencer! 

J’aime tellement cette étampe que j’ai fait deux cartes, à vrai dire, je n’arrivais pas à décider de la couleur du chat! 

Puis, pour ne pas tout simplement laisser le fond de la carte tout blanc, 

j’ai ajouté un motif de pochoir - partout sur une des cartes, à moitié sur l’autre… 

encore cette indécision. J’aime bien les deux!

There you are, when you have just decorated your little garden or your balcony,

 oops, the cat comes by and drops one of your creations… 

Damn, you have to start over!

I love this stamp so much I made two cards, to be honest I couldn't decide what color the cat should be! 

Then, so as not to simply leave the background of the card all white, 

I added a stencil pattern - all over one of the cards, half on the other... 

again this indecision. I like both!

Les tulipes jaunes / The yellow tulips

 

C’est le printemps, et c’est un plaisir de créer des cartes fleuries! 

Celle-ci est structurée en premier lieu, grâce au pochoir de formes carrées (2 formes pleines 

coloriées en bleu ciel et deux contours de traits coloriés en ocre jaune). 

Un second pochoir, de petites tulipes, est également colorié en ocre jaune sur les carrés bleus. 

Pour ne pas dépasser, j’ai laissé en place le premier pochoir, le temps de faire mes tulipes.

Dans les carrés aux traits jaunes, j’ai collé en les soulevant légèrement, 

deux autres tulipes, cette fois faites avec une étampe. 

Il s’agit d’un trio de fleurs printanières que j’ai étampé 2 fois pour avoir mes 2 tulipes. 

Je ferai quelque chose d’autres avec les fleurs restantes. 

Ces tulipes ont été coloriées aux crayons puis découpées pour l’assemblage. 

J’ai retracé le tout de fin marqueur noir.

It's Spring, and it's a pleasure to create floral cards! 

This is structured first, thanks to the stencil of square shapes (2 solid shapes 

colored in sky blue and two outlines of lines colored in yellow ochre).

A second stencil, small tulips, is also colored in yellow ocher on the blue squares.

 In order not to go over, I left the first stencil in place, the time to make my tulips.

In the squares with yellow lines, I glued, lifting them slightly, two other tulips, this time made with a stamp. 

This is a trio of spring flowers that I stamped twice to get my 2 tulips. 

I will do something else with the remaining flowers. 

These tulips were colored with pencils and then cut out for assembly.

I traced the whole thing with fine black marker.

La fille aux oiseaux 2 / The bird girl 2

 

De retour avec une autre carte faite avec le même genre d’éléments qu’il y a quelques temps. 

Cette fois, le fond de la carte, toujours aux encres à l’alcool, m’a fait penser à un coucher de soleil, d’où l’envie de créer un paysage. 

Et cette fois encore, j’ai ajouté du crayon de couleur sur le motif de la jeune fille aux oiseaux. 

J’étais presque satisfaite, mais il manquait une petite touche de mystère. 

J’ai donc eu l’idée d’ajouter ces cercles de fleurs au pochoir. 

Et j’ai dessiné, très finement, en noir, quelques mini fleurs de plus. J

’aurais pu en mettre partout en suivant le cercle de fleurs, mais je me suis arrêtée là. 

J’avais peur que cela soit trop rigide, pas assez magique.

Back with another card made with similar elements as a while ago. 

This time, the background of the card, still in alcohol inks, made me think of a sunset, hence the desire to create a landscape. 

And this time again, I added colored pencil on the pattern of the girl with the birds. 

I was almost satisfied, but it lacked a little touch of mystery. 

So I had the idea to add these flower circles with a stencil. 

And I drew, very finely, in black, a few more mini flowers. 

I could have put it everywhere following the circle of flowers, but I stopped there.

 I was afraid it would be too rigid, not magical enough.

Fleurs au coucher du soleil / Flowers at sunset

 J’ai fait un fond de poudres Nuance dans les tons de pêche sur un carré de papier aquarelle. 

Puis, une fois bien sec, j’ai étampé quelques fois le trio de fleurs, remplissant ainsi une partie de ce carré. 

Pour ajouter au décor, j’ai choisi un pochoir de mandala que j’ai colorié en orangé 

appliqué inégalement pour ne pas trop interférer avec la mise en couleur des fleurs. 

Celle-ci s’est faite aux Tombows et au pinceau mouillé pour mieux étaler la couleur. 

Le tout est rehaussé de marqueur noir assez fin. 

Comme j’aime bien utiliser mes restes de papier, j’ai utilisé deux couleurs pour le montage de la carte.

I made a background of Nuance powders in peach tones on a square of watercolor paper. 

Then, once very dry, I stamped the trio of flowers a few times, thus filling part of this square. 

To add to the decor, I chose a mandala stencil that I colored in orange applied unevenly 

so as not to interfere too much with the coloring of the flowers. 

This was done with Tombows and a wet brush to better spread the Colors.

 Everything is enhanced with a fairly fine black marker. 

As I like to use my scraps of paper, I used two colors for mounting the card.

Joyeuses Pâques! / Happy Easter!

JOYEUSES PÂQUES!

Pâques évoque souvent le printemps et quoi de plus printanier que des tulipes?

 D’où mon idée de me servir du pochoir de grande tulipe pour créer un décor à la carte. 

Puis de rajouter, découpé et surélevé, ce lapin dans les tulipes délicatement colorié aux crayons. 

HAPPY EASTER!

Easter often evokes spring and what could be more springlike than tulips? 

Hence my idea of using the large tulip stencil to create a special decor to the card.

 Then add, cut out and raised, this rabbit in the tulips delicately colored with pencils. 

Trois poussins particuliers / Three peculiar chicks

 

J’aime bien utiliser certains pochoirs pour donner une structure à la carte. 

Ici ces trois rectangles m’ont tout de suite inspirée un montage de ce type. 

J’ai donc colorié ces taches rectangulaires dans une couleur pâle de manière à étamper 2 chats dans leur oeuf, à gauche et à droite. 

Un troisième chat est étampé à part, sur un papier cartonné blanc. 

Les 3 chats sont mis en couleur aux crayons de couleur, délicatement retracés d’un marqueur noir très fin. 

Le chat à part est découpé et collé en relief sur le rectangle central. 

Le tout est collé sur un papier de couleur assortie aux chats dont un côté a été découpé aux ciseaux de fantaisie. 

La bordure retirée est ensuite collée dans le haut du montage. 

Un peu de marqueur noir est ajouté ici et là.

I like to use some stencils to give structure to the card. 

Here these three rectangles immediately inspired me to create a montage of this type. 

So I colored these rectangular spots in a pale color so as to stamp 2 cats in their egg, on the left and on the right. 

A third cat is stamped separately on white cardstock. 

The 3 cats are colored with colored pencils, delicately traced with a very fine black marker. 

The separate cat is cut out and pasted in relief on the central rectangle.

 Everything is glued on a colored paper matching the cats, one side of which has been cut out with fancy scissors. 

The removed border is then glued to the top of the layout.

 A bit of black marker is added here and there.

Coucher de soleil en fleurs / Blooming sunset

 

Sur un papier cartonné régulier j’ai appliqué des encres à l’alcool en lignes. 

Une fois bien sec, j’ai étampé le motif de fleurs que j’ai rehaussé de crayons de couleur. 

Puis j’ai ajouté du détail au fond, à l’aide des deux pochoirs, en retraçant certains traits au fin marqueur noir, 

et en ajouté des points et losanges au marqueur blanc.

On a regular cardstock I applied alcohol inks in lines. 

Once dry, I stamped the flower pattern that I enhanced with colored pencils. 

Then I added detail to the background, using the two stencils, tracing certain lines with a fine black marker, 

and added dots and diamonds with a white marker.

Fleur ensoleillée / Sunny flower

 

Sur un fond d’encres à l’alcool très pâles appliquées en lignes sur papier glacé (Kromekote), 

j’ai étampé en vert le grand motif de fleurs (attendre que ce soit bien sec avant d’étamper). 

Je l’ai légèrement retouché de noir à l’aide d’un marqueur particulièrement fin. 

La grande fleur est faite de la plus petite des fleurs du duo de pochoirs (masques),

 coloriée d’encre orangée et rehaussée de crayons de couleur assortis.

J’ai choisi de faire un montage un peu différent en collant les éléments de manière à ce que la fleur ne cache pas trop le motif vert. 

Le bandeau de texte est en diagonale pour la même raison. 

Des spirales et lignes noires tracées au marqueur un peu moins fin sont finalement ajoutées.

On a background of very pale alcohol inks applied in lines on glossy paper (Kromekote), 

I stamped the large flower motif in green (wait until perfectly dry before to stamp). 

I touched it up slightly with a particularly fine black marker. 

The large flower is made from the smaller of the flowers in the duo of stencils (masks), 

colored in orange ink and enhanced with matching colored pencils.

I chose to make a slightly different layout by gluing the elements 

so that the flower does not hide the green pattern too much. 

The text banner is diagonal for the same reason. 

Spirals and black lines drawn with a little less fine marker are finally added.

Les fleurs roses / The pink flowers

 

J’ai d’abord mis en couleur un carton de papier glacé (Kromekote) avec des encres à l’alcool. 

Une fois bien sec, j’ai tracé en mauve le pochoir de fleurs. 

Puis j’ai étampé deux fois le motif de fleurs et feuilles à l’encre permanente noire.

 J’ai ajouté des couleurs aux Tombow ici et là, ainsi que tracé de lignes ou des points au marqueur blanc. 

Comme il y avait un espace plus libre dans le coin supérieur droit, je pensais y ajouter un texte, 

mais finalement j’ai jugé plus amusant de coller ces deux fleurs qui me restaient

 d’un autre projet: étampées sur papier blanc régulier et mise en couleur aux crayons, 

puis découpées, pétales légèrement recourbés.

I first colored a glossy paper (Kromekote) with alcohol inks. 

Once dry, I traced the flower stencil in purple. 

Then I stamped the flower and leaf design twice with permanent black ink. 

I added colors with Tombow markers here and there, as well as drawing lines or dots with a white marker. 

Since there was more free space in the upper right corner, I was thinking of adding some text there, 

but in the end I thought it was more fun to paste these two flowers that I had left over 

from another project: stamped on regular white paper and put in color with pencils, 

then cut out, slightly curved petals.

Fleur en coeurs 2 / Heart shaped flower 2

 

J’ai retrouvé ce carré de papier aquarelle que j’avais colorié avec les poudres Nuance. 

J’y ai embossé la fleur en noir. 

Puis l’ai coloriée avec mes marqueurs Tombow et un pinceau mouillé pour un effet d’aquarelle. 

Une fois sec, j’ai ajouté le motif de pochoir à l’encre bleue brossée délicatement.

 La même étampe a servi, simplement en noir, à décorer une partie de la carte blanche. 

Des lignes au marqueur noir fin complètent le décor.

I found this square of watercolor cardstock that I had colored with Nuance powders. 

I embossed the flower in black. Then I colored it with my Tombow markers and a wet brush for a watercolor effect. 

Once dry, I added the stencil pattern with gently brushed blue ink. 

The same stamp was used, simply in black, to decorate part of the white card.

 Fine black marker lines complete the decor.

Harmonie en mauve / Purple harmony

 

En fouillant dans un tiroir où se trouvent plein de projets plus ou moins abandonnés, 

j’ai retrouvé ces 4 bordures de papier glacé que j’avais coloriées d’encres à l’alcool, 

puis tracé un motif au pochoir, rehaussé de fin marqueur noir. 

Je les trouvais jolies, mais je n’avais pas su quoi faire avec et j’ai fini par décider de les coller sur un papier contrastant. 

Puis, comme ce n’était pas encore tout à fait à mon idée, j’ai pensé y ajouter un motif 

que j’ai étampé en mauve sur un cercle de papier cartonné blanc. 

J’ai légèrement colorié le contour en brossant un peu d’encre grise. 

Puis, comme il manquait encore quelque chose, j’ai étampé un texte 

que j’ai collé sur un papier mauve, puis placé en diagonale. 

Et voilà, je ne penserai plus à mes lisières, elles sont enfin utilisées!

While rummaging in a drawer where there are lots of more or less abandoned projects, 

I found these 4 pieces of glossy paper that I had colored with alcohol inks, 

then traced a stencil pattern, enhanced with fine marker black.

I thought they were pretty, but I hadn't known what to do with them and ended up deciding to stick them on a contrasting paper. 

Then, since it wasn't quite my idea yet, I thought of adding a design that I stamped in purple on a circle of white cardstock. 

I lightly colored the outline by brushing in some gray ink. 

Then, as something was still missing, I stamped a text that I stuck on purple paper, then placed diagonally. 

There you go, I won't think about my 4 paper pieces anymore, they are finally used!

Camélia bleu / Blue Camellia

 Le pochoir de mandala est colorié 2-3 fois, plus ou moins foncé, sur un papier cartonné blanc. 

L’étampe de camélia est étampée trois en noir dans le coin supérieur droit, 

et une fois sur un papier pour la découper. 

Le motif de feuillage, lui, est étampé sur la gauche. 

Mon encre n’était pas assez noire, donc j’ai retracé les feuillages au marqueur noir, 

puis tracé quelques lignes au crayon blanc.

Le camélia à découper est colorié aux crayons. 

Le montage joue sur le contraste du bleu et du rouge.

The mandala stencil is colored 2-3 times, more or less dark, on white cardstock.

 The camellia stamp is stamped three times in black in the upper right corner,

 and once on a paper to cut it. 

The foliage pattern is stamped on the left. 

My ink wasn't black enough, so I traced the leaves in black marker, 

then drew a few lines in white pencil.

The camellia to be cut out is colored with pencils. 

The layout plays on the contrast of blue and red.

Clématites / Clematis - variations

J’ai utilisé le même pochoir de clématites que dans mon précédent blogue,

 essentiellement les fleurs qui sont facile à découper. 

Mais cette fois je les ai coloriées sur un papier plutôt mince (de 2-3 tons de bleu)

 et j’ai griffonné du marqueur noir pour les décorer. 

J’ai découpé 4 fleurs complètes, mais aussi un certain nombre de pétales 

de diverses formes pour créer les fleurs dimensionnelles. 

Pour faire celles-ci, il faut d’abord recourber chacun des pétales, 

par exemple autour d’une brochette.

L’assemblage se fait en collant une extrémité des pétales sur un petit cercle de papier. 

On colle d’abord les pétales qui seront à l’extérieur (courbés moins serrés) 

et on ajoute les suivants en chevauchant partiellement les précédents.

 Autant de pétales que possible pour créer une fleur. 

Ici, j’ai découpé un ou deux pétales en fines lisières pour figurer le coeur. 

Compter environ une quinzaine de pétales par fleur.

J’ai collé le tout autour d’un ovale de papier blanc étampé du « Merci » en noir.

I used the same clematis stencil as in my previous blog, mainly the flowers which are easy to cut. 

But this time I colored them on rather thin paper (2-3 shades of blue) 

and scribbled with black marker to decorate them.

I cut out 4 full flowers, but also a number of petals of various shapes to create the dimensional flowers. 

To make these, you must first bend each of the petals, for example around a skewer.

The assembly is done by gluing one end of the petals to a small circle of paper.

 We first glue the petals that will be on the outside (curved less tightly) 

and we add the following ones, partially overlapping the previous ones. 

As many petals as possible to create a flower. 

Here, I cut one or two petals into thin strips to represent the heart. 

Count about fifteen petals per flower.

I glued it all around an oval of white paper stamped with "Merci" in black 

(Thank you).

Clématites / Clematis

 

J’ai tracé avec un applicateur mousse et de l’encre de quoi couvrir un rectangle de papier 

cartonné blanc, avec le pochoir de clématites qui provient d’un trio de motifs floraux. 

J’ai également tracé quelques fleurs de plus sur un autre papier afin d’en découper quelques-unes.  

J’ai rehaussé chaque fleur de marqueur noir, un peu griffonné. 

J’ai ensuite ajouté les fleurs découpées et encore plus de marqueur noir.

I traced, with a foam applicator and ink, enough flowers and leaves to cover a rectangle 

of white cardstock, with the clematis stencil that comes from a trio of floral designs. 

I also traced a few more flowers on another paper to cut out some. 

I enhanced each flower with black marker, a little scribbled. 

I then added the cutout flowers and some more black marker.
