L'arbre aux oiseaux / The bird tree

 

De retour avec ce motif d’arbre que j’ai utilisé il y a quelques temps. 

Cette fois, je l’ai étampé à l’encre noire permanente sur un papier aquarelle. 

J’ai d’abord mis des touches de marqueurs Tombow bleus, dans la partie haute, 

et vert dans le bas que j’ai rapidement fait déteindre avec un pinceau mouillé. 

Puis encore des couleurs aux Tombow pour colorier le reste.

Une fois tout cela bien sec, j’ai étampé en bleu le motif de nuages, 

après avoir couvert l’arbre d’un papier découpé à la forme requise pour le protéger.

Enfin, j’ai étampé un mini motif d’herbe et dessiné de petites fleurs au marqueur blanc pour les pétales et points, 

et au marqueur vert à pointe très fine pour les tiges et coeurs des fleurs. 

Du marqueur blanc a aussi été ajouté ici et là dans l’arbre, ainsi que des points rouges.

Back with this tree pattern I used a while back. 

This time I stamped it in permanent black ink on watercolor paper. 

I first put touches of blue Tombow markers in the upper part, and green in the lower part, 

which I quickly spread out with a wet brush. 

Then more Tombow markers to color the rest.

Once all this was dry, I stamped the cloud pattern in blue, after covering the tree 

with a paper cut to the required shape to protect it.

Finally, I stamped a mini grass design and drew small flowers with white marker for the petals and dots, 

and very fine-tipped green marker for the flower stems and hearts. 

White marker has also been added here and there in the tree, 

as well as tiny red dots.

Fleurs au coucher du soleil / Flowers at sunset

 J’ai fait un fond de poudres Nuance dans les tons de pêche sur un carré de papier aquarelle. 

Puis, une fois bien sec, j’ai étampé quelques fois le trio de fleurs, remplissant ainsi une partie de ce carré. 

Pour ajouter au décor, j’ai choisi un pochoir de mandala que j’ai colorié en orangé 

appliqué inégalement pour ne pas trop interférer avec la mise en couleur des fleurs. 

Celle-ci s’est faite aux Tombows et au pinceau mouillé pour mieux étaler la couleur. 

Le tout est rehaussé de marqueur noir assez fin. 

Comme j’aime bien utiliser mes restes de papier, j’ai utilisé deux couleurs pour le montage de la carte.

I made a background of Nuance powders in peach tones on a square of watercolor paper. 

Then, once very dry, I stamped the trio of flowers a few times, thus filling part of this square. 

To add to the decor, I chose a mandala stencil that I colored in orange applied unevenly 

so as not to interfere too much with the coloring of the flowers. 

This was done with Tombows and a wet brush to better spread the Colors.

 Everything is enhanced with a fairly fine black marker. 

As I like to use my scraps of paper, I used two colors for mounting the card.

Que cette journée soit belle! / May this day be beautiful!

 

Comme le printemps approche (on l’espère toujours!), j’ai fait une carte avec ce motif de tulipe. 

Ici, il est embossé en noir sur un fond de papier aquarelle colorié de poudres Nuance. 

J’ai ajouté du marqueur Tombow, retravaillé avec un pinceau mouillé pour mieux l’étaler. 

Et j’ai dessiné de petits cercles au crayon de couleur blanc, pour légèrement décorer le fond 

en imaginant des pollens dans l’air.

As Spring is approaching (we always hope so!), I did a card with this tulip motif.

 Here, it is embossed in black on a background of watercolor cardstock colored with Nuance powders. 

I added Tombow marker, adding some watercolor effect with a wet brush to spread it better. 

And I drew small circles with white colored pencil, to lightly decorate the background 

by imagining pollens in the air.

Fleurs bleues / Blue flowers

Ce motif de fleurs est pratique, il peut servir autant de poinsettias dans une carte de Noël que de fleurs d’été, au choix. 

Ici, je l’ai étampé avec de l’encre noire permanente, sur un papier aquarelle. 

Puis j’ai ajouté des touches de marqueurs Tombow de couleurs joyeuses, que j’ai étalées avec un pinceau mouillé pour un effet d’aquarelle. 

Du marqueur blanc est ajouté ici et là, ainsi que du Stickles dans le coeur des fleurs.

This flower pattern is practical, it can be used as poinsettias in a Christmas card as well as summer flowers, if desired. 

Here, I stamped it with permanent black ink, on watercolor paper. 

Then I added touches of Tombow markers in happy colors, which I smudged with a wet brush for watercolor effect. 

White marker is added here and there, as well as Stickles in the heart of the flowers.

Trio de fleurs / Flower trio

 

Le fond est fait d’un papier aquarelle colorié aux poudres Nuance vaporisées d’eau. 

Une fois bien sec, j’ai étampé le motif de fleurs en noir. 

J’ai colorié fleurs et feuilles aux marqueurs Tombow légèrement déteints avec un pinceau humide pour un effet d’aquarelle. 

Une fois sec, j’ai ajouté du marqueur noir et du blanc dans le coeur des fleurs.

 Des rubans et une attache parisienne qui retient la boucle sont ajoutés au montage.

The background is made of watercolor paper colored with Nuance powders sprayed with water. 

Once dry, I stamped the flower pattern in black. 

I colored flowers and leaves with Tombow markers and a damp brush to create a watercolor effect. 

Once dry, I added black and white markers in the heart of the flowers. 

Ribbons and a brad that holds the loop are added to the layout.

Fleur gribouilli / Doodle flower

 

Sur un papier glacé (Kromekote) j’ai appliqué des lignes d’encres à l’alcool. 

Une fois bien sec, j’ai étampé la fleur 3 fois, rehaussée de marqueurs Tombow dans les tons de mauve et de vert. 

Un peu de marqueur noir tracé en points ou spirales ici et là complètent le tout.

On a glossy paper (Kromekote) I applied lines of alcohol inks. 

Once dry, I stamped the flower 3 times, enhanced with Tombow markers in shades of mauve and green. 

A bit of black marker drawn in dots or spirals here and there completes the whole thing.

Paix, santé et bonheur / Peace, health and happiness

 En ce début d'année, mon oiseau joyeux vient vous souhaite tout l'espoir

Il est tout simplement étampé en noir sur papier aquarelle 

et colorié aux marqueurs Tombow dilués avec un pinceau mouillé. 

Les fleurs de papier sont faites avec des emporte-pièce 

ou roulées comme du quilling.

Clématites / Clematis

 Embossé en noir sur du papier aquarelle, cette étampe de clématites 

est ensuite mise en couleur aux marqueurs Tombow dilués au pinceau 

avec un peu d’eau pour un effet d’aquarelle.

Embossed in black on watercolor cardstock, this clematis stamp 

is then colored with Tombow markers diluted with a brush 

with a little water for a watercolor effect.

Sur du papier aquarelle, le motif de bouquet est étampé légèrement décentré  vers la gauche. 

Du marqueur Tombow est utilisé à la fois pour colorier le fond et pour les fleurs du bouquet, 

en appliquant des couleurs avec les marqueurs, mais en les diluant avec un pinceau mouillé.

Une fois sec, des motifs de pochoir et d’étampes, dont une bordure de petites fleurs, sont ajoutés, 

ainsi que du crayon blanc et du marqueur noir.

On watercolor cardstock, the bouquet pattern is stamped slightly off-center to the left. 

Tombow markers are used both to color the background and for the flowers of the bouquet, 

applying colors with the markers, but diluting them with a wet brush.

Once dry, stencil and stamp designs, including a border of small flowers, are added, 

along with white pencil and black marker.
