En fouillant dans un tiroir où se trouvent plein de projets plus ou moins abandonnés,
j’ai retrouvé ces 4 bordures de papier glacé que j’avais coloriées d’encres à l’alcool,
puis tracé un motif au pochoir, rehaussé de fin marqueur noir.
Je les trouvais jolies, mais je n’avais pas su quoi faire avec et j’ai fini par décider de les coller sur un papier contrastant.
Puis, comme ce n’était pas encore tout à fait à mon idée, j’ai pensé y ajouter un motif
que j’ai étampé en mauve sur un cercle de papier cartonné blanc.
J’ai légèrement colorié le contour en brossant un peu d’encre grise.
Puis, comme il manquait encore quelque chose, j’ai étampé un texte
que j’ai collé sur un papier mauve, puis placé en diagonale.
Et voilà, je ne penserai plus à mes lisières, elles sont enfin utilisées!
While rummaging in a drawer where there are lots of more or less abandoned projects,
I found these 4 pieces of glossy paper that I had colored with alcohol inks,
then traced a stencil pattern, enhanced with fine marker black.
I thought they were pretty, but I hadn't known what to do with them and ended up deciding to stick them on a contrasting paper.
Then, since it wasn't quite my idea yet, I thought of adding a design that I stamped in purple on a circle of white cardstock.
I lightly colored the outline by brushing in some gray ink.
Then, as something was still missing, I stamped a text that I stuck on purple paper, then placed diagonally.
There you go, I won't think about my 4 paper pieces anymore, they are finally used!
