Voici une étampe qui n’est pas récente, mais que j’ai toujours plaisir à
mettre en couleur aux crayons.
Ces fleurs d’agapanthe me rappellent mes voyages
en Californie.
Ici, j’ai découpé le motif en laissant une petite bordure autour
du carré.
Et je l’ai monté sur un fond créé sur papier glacé (Kromekote) avec
des encres à l’alcool,
auquel j’ai ajouté un pochoir qui occupe joliment l’espace,
sans trop masquer les couleurs obtenues par les encres.
Here is a stamp that is not recent, but that I
always enjoy coloring with pencils.
These agapanthus flowers remind me of my
travels to California.
Here, I cut the pattern leaving a small border around
the square.
And I mounted it on a background created on glossy paper
(Kromekote) with alcohol inks,
to which I added a stencil that decorates the
space nicely, without too much masking the colors obtained by the inks.
