Les beaux dimanches de Nathalie / Nathalie's Sunny Sundays

Aujourd’hui, certainement influencée par cet été tellement chaud et trop souvent humide, 

j’ai créé cette carte à l’aspect tropical. Il est vrai que les ananas sont à la mode, vous l’aurez sans doute remarqué.

J’ai utilisé deux pochoirs d’ananas. Le motif solo pour ses feuillages, décore le fond de la carte. 

Le trio, pour plus d’originalité, est placé à droite, donc dépassant du papier cartonné blanc. 

Puis je l’ai découpé à gauche, ne laissant qu’une bordure étroite blanche, d’environ la même largeur que les espaces blancs délimitant le dessin du pochoir. J’ai collé le tout sur un fond bleu, puis un jaune, 

ajouté des lignes aux marqueurs de couleur, et étampé le texte.

 

Today, certainly influenced by this hot and damp summer, I created this tropical-looking card.

 It is true that pineapples are trendy, you will probably have noticed.

I used two pineapple stencils. The solo pattern for its foliage, decorates the background of the card. 

The trio pineapple stencil, for more originality, is placed on the right, so exceeding the edge of the white cardstock. 

Then I cut it to the left, leaving only a narrow white border, about the same width as the white spaces of the stencil drawing. 

I pasted everything on a blue background, then a yellow, added lines with colour markers, and stamped the text.
